Lorna Trudgeon
Senior Centre Manager

Lorna has a wealth of experience with supporting children and their families across all age ranges. Lorna has a BA(Hons) in Early Childhood Education, a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies, a Playwork Diploma and has Early Years Teacher Status. She has worked at Oasis since 2001 and was previously the Manager of Ludgvan Community Centre. As a previous member of Ludgvan Parish Council she values and appreciates the importance of strong working partnerships within our local community.
Lorna enjoys spending quality time with her family, watching her son play a wide range of sports and walking our beautiful coastal paths.
Juliette George
Senior Deputy Manager

She has experience working with babies, toddlers, pre-school and kid’s club, and has a CACHE level 4 in Childcare and Education. Juliette returned to Oasis in 2009 after having a gap year to spend time with her family.
Juliette enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Briony Sedgeman

Briony has experience working with toddlers, pre-school and kid’s club. She has a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies, a BA(Hons) in Early Childhood Education and has Early Years Teacher Status. She has been at Oasis since leaving college in 2008.
Briony enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.
Holly Empson

Hollie has been at Oasis since 2017 and has experience working with babies, toddlers and pre-school. Hollie has a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
In her spare time Hollie enjoys a wide range of music and spending time with her family and friends.

Sharon has experience working with young children. She has a Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. Sharon has been at Oasis since 2015 and prior to this she worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Reception Class at a local primary school.
In her spare time Sharon enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog.
Hannah Capstick

Hannah has experience working with young children. She has a level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. Hannah has been at Oasis since 2014 and prior to this she worked at Chy an Albany Hotel.

Lindsay Roberts
Nursery Assistant

Lindsay has experience working with babies, toddlers, pre-school and kid’s club. She has a CACHE level 4 in Childcare and Education, and a NVQ level 3 in Playwork. Lindsay has been at Oasis since its creation in 1996 and previously worked as a farm hand.
Lindsay spends her spare time walking her dogs, gardening and motor biking.
Jo Murton

Jo has experience working with babies, toddlers, pre-school and kid’s club. She has a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies and a CACHE level 2 in Playwork. Jo has been at Oasis since 2003.
Jo enjoys shopping, ICT and spending time with her nephews and nieces.

Hannah Stafford

Hannah has a foundation degree in Early Childhood Education and a BA (Hons) in Education and Training (Level 6). She has 9 years Montessori experience working with toddlers/pre-school. Hannah has been at Oasis since 2021.
In her spare time she enjoys anything creative including baking, arts and crafts, being active outside and discovering new places to explore.
Tabatha Threadgold
Nursery Room Supervisor

Tabatha has experience working with babies, toddlers and pre-school. She has a BA(Hons) in Early Childhood Education and has Early Years Professional Status. Tabatha has been with Oasis since 2018 and was previously the Deputy Childcare Manager at Marazion Childrens Centre.
Tabatha enjoys card making, cross stitch, crochet and crafts in general.
Olivia Wallis

Olivia has experience working with toddlers and pre-school children. She has a CACHE Level 3 in Childcare and Education. Olivia has been at Oasis since 2021, prior to this she was a student who completed her work placement with us.

Karenza has experience working with babies, toddlers and pre-school. She has an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Childrens Care, Learning and Development. Karenza has been with Oasis since 2018 and previously worked as a Nursery Assistant at Marazion Childrens Centre.
Karenza enjoys dog walking, rugby, gardening and generally having fun.

Nicky has over 30 years’ experience working within various Customer Based roles. Nicky has been at Oasis since 2022 and is working towards a Level 2 qualification in Early Years.
In her spare time Nicky enjoys walking her puppy, Darcy, spending quality time with her family and socialising with friends. Nicky also enjoys cooking, reading and watching cookery programmes.

Simmy has experience working with babies, toddlers, pre-school and children with additional needs. She has a level 4 in Childcare and Education. Simmy has 8 years previous experience working at Oasis and returned in 2022, after spending 7 years working at a local Primary School as a 1:1 support worker.
Simmy enjoys spending time outdoors with her children and her friends, going on cliff walks and swimming. She also loves films, reading and writing poetry.

Paula is an Administrative Assistant and has over 20 years working in a clerical environment. Paula has been at Oasis since 2023 and previously worked as an administrator at a local Primary School.
Paula enjoys spending time with her family, socialising with friends and is currently training to become a Level 2 Swimming Teacher.
Aaron Wilson

Aaron is our Centre’s Technology Consultant. With over 15 years’ experience in the Ed Tech environment Aaron has supported Nurseries, Schools, Colleges and Universities. He is currently the Lead Consultant for NUTECH South West, supporting schools and businesses across Cornwall.
Aaron enjoys spending quality time with his young family, with a passion for technology, Coffee, surfing and fitness. Aaron also was previously a Volunteer for the Cornwall Search and Rescue Service.
Suzanne Kemp
Centre Domestic Operator

Suzanne also works as a lunchtime supervisor at Ludgvan School. She has a City and Guilds qualification in Customer Service. Suzanne has been at Oasis since 2013 and prior to this she worked at Penwith College until leaving to raise her family.
In her spare time Suzanne enjoys walks on the beach and spending time with her family.
Neville Goodspeed

Neville has been at Oasis since 2010 and has previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer, Market Garden Manager and Property Developer.
Neville has an interest in most sports.
