Outdoor Learning

At Oasis Childcare Centres children have a wide range of opportunities to learn and explore outdoors. We promote free-flow outdoor learning, allowing children to choose when to access the outdoor environment and follow their own interests and curiosity. Children also have access to our on-site Forest School, where they can explore nature, develop confidence and independence, build physical skills and experience hands-on learning in a natural environment. This includes preparing snacks and building. Our outdoor provision supports children’s wellbeing, creativity, communication and understanding of the world, with opportunities to learn and play outdoors throughout the year, whatever the weather.
